Earth’s atmosphere is composed of MULTY layers with varying heights and temperatures

    1.Troposphere 0-15 km, temperature 15 to -50 C  with 6.5 C DROP FOR EVERY KM GO UP

    2.stratosphere 15-50 km, temperature -50 C TO  0 C UPTO MEASOPHERE,

    3.mesosphere 50-85 km, temperature 0 to 90 C UPTO THERMOSPHERE.

    4.thermosphere 85 -600 KM , temperature 90 C TO +1500 C increases with height.

5.exosphere, the outermost layer of Earth’s atmosphere  700 to 10,000 kilometers above the surface, with temperatures 2,500°C.

    Ozone exists (O3)

in both the stratosphere (where it forms the protective “ozone layer”) and the troposphere (ground level), but while stratospheric ozone is beneficial,

ground-level ozone is a pollutant.(voc +no2 =o3 sunlight. The thickness of the ozone layer which is 3 mm in thickness &   above the Earth 20 to 30 kilometers Height.  -60°C (-76°F) at the lower boundary to around 0°C (32°F) near the top, due to the absorption of ultraviolet radiation by ozone. (GHG ) seven greenhouse gases

    1. carbon dioxide (CO2),
    2. methane (CH4),
    3. nitrous oxide (N2O),
    4. hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs),
    5. perfluorocarbons (PFCs),
    6. sulfur hexafluoride (SF6),
    7. Water Vapour

    Global warming

In the early 1960s scientists recognized that carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was increasing.  Later they discovered that methane, nitrous oxide and other gases were rising. GREEN HOUSE gases (GHG) trap heat and warm the Earth,  as a greenhouse traps heat from the sun, scientists concluded that increasing levels of “greenhouse gases”  would increase global warming.

    Global Warming Potential (GWP)

Global Warming Potential (GWP) is the ability of a greenhouse gas to absorb heat compared to carbon dioxide over a specified period of time.

carbon dioxide is always set at “1”, FOR 100 YEARS.

METHANE 28 TIMES FOR  100 YEARS.

NITROUS OXIDE 298 TIMES FOR 100- YEARS.

    WHAT IS CARBON FOOTPRINT

A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide (CO₂), that are emitted into the atmosphere due to human activities.  It is usually measured in terms of tons of CO2 produced per year.

IN ORDER TO OVERCOME THE GLOBAL WARMING BECAUSE OF CARBON FOOT PRINT, ESG IS ESSENTIAL TO FOCUS ON ONE OF OUR ENVIRONMENTAL FACTOR TO COMBAT THE GLOBAL WARMING.
